Before you book.

The questions the hire desk answers most days.

Can I hire an excavator with an operator?
Yes. Wet hire means the machine arrives with one of our operators on it, which suits most civil work and anything on a live site. Dry hire is the machine on its own for crews with their own tickets. Tell us which you need on the job sheet and we will price both if you are not sure.
What size excavator do I need?
It usually comes down to access rather than the dig. A 1.7 tonne fits through a standard gate and works in backyards. Four to eight tonne covers most trenching, footings and service work. Thirteen tonne up is subdivision and bulk earthworks, and 22 to 30 tonne is production digging where volume matters. Describe the site and we will tell you which one fits.
Do you deliver to site?
Yes, we float machines across Perth metro and out to regional WA. Delivery and pick-up are quoted with the machine so there are no surprises, and we will work to your start time rather than ours.
What happens if the machine goes down?
We run four field service mechanics and our own workshop, so a breakdown is our problem rather than yours. That is the main reason our gear is maintained in-house instead of being sent out.

Know the size you need?

Send the job sheet with your dates and the number comes back same day, usually.
