Before you call

The questions the hire desk answers every week.

Do you hire machines with an operator?

Both ways. Wet hire means the machine arrives with an experienced Platinum operator, fuelled and productive from the first hour, on one line of the invoice. Dry hire means you take the machine only and your own ticketed crew runs it.

What does Platinum hire out?

Excavators from 1.7 tonne minis up to 30 tonne, plus tipper trucks, wheel loaders, water trucks and carts, posi-tracks, vacuum excavation, directional drills, rollers, telehandlers, attenuator trucks and a fuel trailer. Twelve categories in all.

Where do you deliver?

Perth metro and regional WA. Machines are floated to site, or you can collect from the Belmont yard.

What happens if a machine breaks down on my job?

Our own four field service mechanics are on the road, working from our own workshop, and breakdowns get priority dispatch so your program keeps moving.

How fast can I get a quote?

Send the job sheet with what you know and the number usually comes back the same day. Existing account clients are faster again.
